Wood fired hot tub
The outdoor wood fired hot tub is just enormous and ridiculously relaxing, whether the stars come out or not. We don't use any chemicals in the water, instead the water is changed and the tub scrubbed down fresh for your stay.
Main space
Seren is an inviting studio space with everything you'll need for a relaxing getaway to this beautiful area. The high ceilings and raised bed offer a delightfully light yet very private feel, with glimpses of the stunning Wye Valley below. Every inch has been designed by us with practicality, comfort and beauty in mind.
The comfy king sized bed is on a raised platform within the studio space. There's underfloor heating and heated towel rail in the shower room to keep you warm after your adventurous day. We'll provide a couple of bottles of excellent ale from our favourite local brewery on your arrival.
Outside
Outside there are seating areas all with fantastic views - there's a table on the patio alongside the hot tub to enjoy a drink, a picnic table amongst the wildflowers and a bench with a buzzard's eye view of the river. All within 30 minutes of the M4/M5 interchange.
Everything you need and more.
We always make sure we are around to meet and greet you on arrival. We can show you around and can answer any questions you might have (for example, how to get the hot tub hot!). After that, the place is all yours!

Accessibility
The entrance to Seren is totally private but there are 2 sets of outdoor steps. The bed platform is accessed via ladders so is only suitable for sure footed folk!

Let’s eat
Walk to a riverside pub and reward yourself with a local cask ale. The Whitebrook Restaurant is 10 minutes by car (or a lovely walk), The Walnut Tree and The Hardwick are also within reach and a real treat. The Ostrich Inn, The Pig & Apple and Kingstone Brewery are all great options for a more laid back experience.
The River Wye
Step out of the door and onto the Wye Valley Walk. There's wild swim opportunities for the brave! Or canoe it! There are several canoe hire outlets in Monmouth that also provide guiding.
Get active
Uncover local mountain bike trails or hire bikes at Pedalabikeaway mountain biking centre in the Forest of Dean. Go Ape or get lost in Puzzlewood, climb Symonds Yat Rock and take a guided foraging experience with Gourmet Gatherings. Find your inner peace on a stand up paddle board at Mallard's Pike Lake.

Our space is designed for relaxing in nature. Grab a book, watch the wildlife and enjoy the views. Take in the starry sky from the beautiful larch wood fired hot tub.
